Gummy candies were actually invented quite a long time ago. About 150 years ago. Of course, it was made based on gelatin and used a human-shaped mold. The candies were named “Unwanted Babies” and the producer was Fryers of Lancashire back in 1864.

But what is particularly very important for us – we never offer gummy candies made from animal ingredients or bones. If you’re interested in how regular (non-vegan) gummy candies are made, there’s plenty of information on YouTube and Google. But believe me, once you’ve seen (or know), it’s impossible not to tell the difference. For making excellent candies, there’s no need for bones at all.
