The cream utilizes a new patented technology that allows the use of nanoparticles in the cream that do not absorb into the skin but remain on the surface.

The cream is suitable for use by the whole family from birth. The sunscreen DOES NOT CONTAIN chemical filters or potentially harmful skin-absorbing ingredients like octocrylene, homosalate, oxybenzone, octinoxate, parabens, preservatives, phenoxyethanol. The cream does not threaten marine ecosystems or corals.

Usage: Shake the bottle before use. Spray the cream onto the body and rub until absorbed. Although the product is water-resistant, we recommend reapplying the cream every two hours.

Do ALPHANOVA SUN sunscreens protect the skin from both harmful UVA and UVB rays?

Yes. Alphanova Sun sun products provide perfect protection to the skin from both harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Is it possible to tan and get brown when using SPF50 sunscreen?

Yes, it is. SPF… and the following number indicates how long the cream provides protection from the SUN’S HARMFUL UVA and UVB rays, i.e., how long it is possible to stay in the sun without getting burned. Usually, 1 SPF equals 10-15 minutes. For people with lighter and more sensitive skin, this time may be even less. However, no SPF protects 100% from harmful rays. SPF50 blocks 98% of harmful rays, SPF30 blocks 97% of rays, SPF15 blocks 93% of rays. Despite this, it is recommended to reapply sunscreen at least every two hours, regardless of the SPF size, as wind, seawater, and sand can reduce the protective effect of the sunscreen.

Why prefer mineral filters over chemical filters?

Sunscreens with chemical filters contain chemical compounds that are absorbed into the skin and can harm it. Baby and child sunscreens also contain chemical filters. Creams that are hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. There are also sunscreens that contain both chemical and mineral filters. Therefore, we always recommend reviewing the ingredients before buying sunscreen.

The most well-known chemical sunscreen filters and their negative properties in addition to sun protection:

• octocrylene – when this chemical comes into contact with UV light, it absorbs the rays and generates oxygen radicals that can damage cells and cause mutations. It easily absorbs into the skin and may remain in the body for a long time. Additionally, it can be toxic to the environment.
• oxybenzone – causes skin allergies. Destroys corals. Affects people hormonally by influencing estrogen production in women and testosterone production in men.
• homosalate – can damage DNA and hormones.
• octinoxate – can cause allergies, dermatitis, and acne.

Why do mineral sunscreens leave a white cast? Do all mineral sunscreens leave a white cast?

In mineral sunscreens, the filters like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which protect against harmful sun rays, leave a white cast on the skin. The larger the particle size, the more likely it is to leave a white cast. The occurrence of a white cast also depends on the other ingredients of the cream. If various oils are used in the cream, it is easier to apply the cream to the skin, and the likelihood of leaving a white cast is reduced (a very faint cast remains). However, this very white cast protects you and your children from sunburn and harmful rays. With mineral sunscreens, it is important to shake the cream before use so that all the oils and filters mix! Even if the cream is in a tube, shake it anyway!
