Description
A newborn’s nails can be sharp and long even at birth, and caring for them can be quite challenging due to the baby’s small fingers. The Thumble nail file, which attaches directly to the parent’s fingertip, is an excellent and safe aid for taking care of baby’s nails.
The Thumble nail file is available in two age ranges for babies:
- 0-6 months
- 6+ months
The difference between the products is that the 6+ months nail file is coarser and stronger to care for the nails of an older child.
Each pack includes 15 files, 1 fingertip attachment, and a pouch for the products.
How to use the nail file:
Tear off one nail file and remove the sticker on the back. Stick the nail file onto the attachment and press firmly so the adhesive secures. Place the attachment on your finger, hold your baby, and gently file the baby’s nails. Our experience shows that with The Thumble, caring for baby’s fingernails and toenails takes about 5 minutes!

You can file baby’s nails multiple times with one file. If you notice the file is wearing down, it’s time to replace it with a new one. Sometimes the ends of the file may come loose—simply press the file firmly back on with your fingers.
The attachment, where the file is fixed, fits nails of various lengths and finger sizes. Therefore, both mom and dad can use it.
