The Reer child safety lock helps keep the contents of drawers securely hidden while also preventing fingers from getting trapped.

The lock prevents both the opening and accidental closing of the drawer. The drawer only opens a small gap until the locking lever is activated – in this position, the drawer cannot be fully opened or closed without additional action. This protects the child from both dangerous contents and trapping their fingers. The drawer can only be fully opened or closed when the adult releases the lock.

✔ Also suitable for shallow drawers and under overhanging countertops

Thanks to clever design, the lock is also suitable for installation under countertops with up to 20 mm overhang and in shallow drawers (e.g. cutlery drawers, minimum height above tray 4 cm).

The included installation aid makes fixing the lock quick, precise, and error-free. It shows exactly where to attach the lock, whether the installation is done with adhesive or screws. This avoids excess damage or incorrectly positioned installation.

The double locking mechanism keeps drawers securely closed for children, but adults can easily open the lock with one hand: push the slider forward and press down – the drawer opens as usual. The lock is mounted inside the drawer, remaining invisible from the outside and preserving the appearance of your furniture.
