The natural rubber in Rebael pacifiers is allowed to dry naturally, without chemicals. This means that the production process takes a bit longer, but ensures cleaner, more durable, and safer pacifiers.

Pacifier Care and Cleaning

For safety, it is important that you sterilize the pacifiers daily, but especially before the first use. Due to the use of natural materials, sterilization should be performed as follows:

1. Put the pacifier in a bowl and pour boiling water over it.

2. Let the pacifier soak for 5 minutes.

3. Take the pacifier out and let it dry. Squeeze the water out of the pacifier.

After cooling, your pacifiers are sterilized and ready to use! Do not boil Rebael pacifiers, as this may damage the natural rubber. Frequent cleaning of Rebael pacifiers is important for optimal hygiene. Good hygiene is always important but is especially essential for babies and young children. Do not use UV sterilizers as Rebael pacifiers are made from natural material and go through a natural aging process. UV exposure negatively affects this process – therefore, we recommend never using UV sterilizers. Never clean in the dishwasher as dishwashers do not reach a high enough temperature to guarantee sterilization. Also, chemicals used in dishwashers can damage the pacifier.

Always check the pacifier before use, especially when the baby is teething. If the pacifier is damaged, stop using it. Replace the pacifier every 4–6 weeks.

Rebael pacifier size 1 is suitable for ages 0–6 months. Size 2 is suitable for ages 6+ months.
