Pacifier Care and Cleaning

To ensure safety, it is important to sterilize pacifiers daily, especially before first use. Because natural materials are used, sterilization should be done as follows:

1. Place the pacifier in a bowl and pour boiling water over it.

2. Let the pacifier soak for 5 minutes.

3. Take out the pacifier and let it dry. Squeeze out any water inside the pacifier.

After cooling, your pacifiers are sterilized and ready to use! Do not boil Rebael pacifiers, as this can damage the natural rubber. Frequent cleaning of the Rebael pacifier is important for optimal hygiene. Good hygiene is always important, but especially crucial for infants and small children. Do not use UV sterilizers as Rebael pacifiers are made from natural material that undergoes a natural aging process. UV radiation negatively affects this process – therefore we recommend never using UV sterilizers. Never clean in a dishwasher as dishwashers do not reach a high enough temperature to guarantee sterilization. Also, chemicals used in dishwashers can damage the pacifier.

Always check the pacifier before use, especially when your baby is teething. If the pacifier is damaged, stop using it. Replace the pacifier every 4-6 weeks.

Rebael pacifier size 1 is suitable for ages 0-6 months. Size 2 is suitable for 6+ months.
