Description
A light and romantic scent where fresh apricot blends with delicate freesia. The combination of the gentle floral and sweet fruit aroma creates a captivating composition to set a sentimental mood.
For this candle, we have used rapeseed wax, which offers the following benefits:
The rapeseed wax used is produced in Europe, ensuring a smaller ecological footprint thanks to reduced transport distances.
Rapeseed is not a monoculture, and its cultivation is not burdensome to the environment. Instead, it is used for crop rotation. Rapeseed is often a preceding crop before sowing grains.
The rapeseed wax we use is GMO-free. The cultivation of genetically modified crops is prohibited in Europe.
Rapeseed wax is biodegradable and burns longer and cleaner compared to paraffin.
Rapeseed wax is vegan friendly.
Candle burn time: 30h.
Usage:
Please follow these simple yet extremely important candle burning rules to ensure pleasant and safe use of your candle:
* Burn the candle continuously until the entire surface is melted. This ensures the candle burns evenly.
ALWAYS trim the wick to 0.5 cm before lighting the candle. This ensures that the candle burns cleanly and does not soot. A wick that is too long or has burn residue (the so-called mushroom tip) will create a flame that is too big, which can become unstable and may cause smoke and soot. Burning the candle with a wick that is too long or with a large flame is dangerous. If the flame becomes too large, extinguish the candle, trim the wick shorter, and then relight it if desired.
Blowing out the candle causes smoke. Instead, press the wick into the melted wax with, for example, the tip of a knife and then lift it back up. Make sure the wick remains centered and that no burnt pieces of wick stay in the wax.
Do not burn the candle for more than 3 hours at a time.
Always burn the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects. Stop burning the candle when less than 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the glass.
Be careful when moving a burning candle – the glass may be hot.
Keep burning candles away from children and animals.
Avoid drafts around the candle.
Never leave a burning candle unattended!
If the candle glass has become sooty (because you forgot to trim the wick…), you can easily clean the glass with a paper napkin.
