GutGuide® ProVillus lactic acid bacteria product is suitable for sensitive and irritated intestines and all age groups, with no age limit. The product is a combination of two selected bacterial strains. Lactobacillus rhamnosus SP1 + Bifidobacterium lactis BLC. Based on GutGuide’s EU patent FI 127483 B.
The powder can be mixed if desired, for example, with cold drinks, yogurt, cottage cheese, juice, or other drinks or food. The drink or food protects the bacteria’s viability until they reach the intestines. Powder cannot be mixed with hot drinks, as the bacteria cannot withstand heat!

GutGuide Oy is a company founded in 2012 by Finnish microbiologists, with its lab located in Salo. GutGuide uses patented cytometry technology in oral and intestinal microbiome analyses and in the development of microbiological products. Their own lab allows for the rapid development of innovative products based on new research findings. Microbiologist Annika Mäyrä is one of the company’s founders. She has had a long career in food industry research and product development and has been responsible for Valio’s own bacteria production and microbiological applications development for 25 years. Since the 1990s, the bacteria related to intestinal well-being have been one research area. Gutguide’s product development uses different knowledge of Gutguide’s microbiologists. Different bacteria are important for the oral, intestinal, and skin well-being, and their relationship with the overall health of the organism makes the development work extensive and interesting.

Dosage: One sachet per day. Mix with yogurt, cottage cheese, puree for a small child, or a similar cold drink. Do not mix with water or hot drinks!
