Description
The merino wool balaclava keeps ears, nape, and neck warm. The balaclava does not make the head sweat and allows the skin to breathe.
The fabric material comes from organic farming and does not contain chlorine, heavy metals, or other harmful chemicals. The fabric is clean and gentle on the skin.
Merino wool products are suitable for wearing year-round. The fabric keeps the body warm in winter and cool in summer. Merino wool products are antistatic and antibacterial, suitable for even the most sensitive skin of babies.
Dilling uses cotton and wool in their garments, which have GOTS certification (The Global Organic Textile Standard), the world’s leading organic textile processing standard. The standard covers strict controls and ecological and social criteria throughout the supply chain.
Additionally, all Dilling clothes carry The Nordic Swan eco-label, which imposes strict requirements on the substances used in clothes processing. The label excludes the use of harmful substances in clothing.
Care of merino wool products:
PRODUCT CARE: Products can be machine washed with a wool wash program (30 degrees). Use detergent intended for woolen clothes when washing. Merino wool clothes can also be hand-washed, but do not soak them in water for long.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND using a wool detergent that contains lanolin. Lanolin makes clothes waterproof, and detergent with lanolin is not suitable for merino wool clothes, which are the first layer next to the skin. In such a case, merino wool loses its property – it no longer absorbs moisture and does not keep the body warm and/or cool. Dilling wool wash gel does not contain lanolin!
